We were honoured to be asked by Portglenone BB to take their end of year outing. So on Saturday 16th April BOMB NI and a great group of boys and young men joined us to try out what the trails at Tardree had to offer after sampling Garvagh with them last year. A cool day with even the odd snow flake before hand didn't detract and at some stages the sun emerged giving us a wonderful view of Slemish and reminding us of the majesty and beauty of creation!
In fact Winston during his talk with the guys discussed how God's wonderful creation had been tainted by sin and how he rescued Noah and his family from the flood while ultimately giving us the opportunity to be part of his rescue plan through the life, death and ressurection of Jesus.
As ever with Tardree there was a 'bit' of mud but that only made it more fun for the group as we tried - sometimes unsuccessfully - to pick a clean line. Everyone had an enjoyable day and Albert's cans of coke and mars bars were a welcome sight on return!
We'd just like to say thanks again to all those who took part so enthusiastically in the group, the leaders and all their great work with these youngsters throughout the past year in teaching them the way of the Lord. Hopefully see you again next year if not before it!
